Admissions Process

Congratulations on taking charge of your life! Addiction is a dark and dreary place. We are thrilled to be a companion with you as you walk on your path of recovery.
Our goal is to help you make a full recovery from addiction. A total transformation of mind, body, and emotions is about to take place. There is nothing more rewarding than the process of recovery from drinking and drug addiction.
Prior to your arrival, you could have some questions. Let us provide you with answers to questions that are commonly asked.
What Should I Pack?
We suggest packing enough clothes to last between 2-4 weeks. We do have laundry services available. We ask that you bring some type of active wear and appropriate tennis shoes. We do offer workout equipment. Physical exercise is also often part of your treatment plan.
Will I Be Able To Communicate With My Family?
We believe communication with loved ones is essential. However, we do not allow mobile phones throughout the duration of your stay with us. The use of cell phones could take your focus off of your recovery. This is the time in your life to focus on yourself and your sobriety.
There are telephones available for your use. We have designated “communication” times when you can check in with family and friends, typically after some time has already passed in the program.
We have a family day when your family is allowed to visit. This can enhance your process of recovery. Seeing loved ones can help boost your confidence and be an excellent reminder of one of the many reasons why you deserve recovery.
Can I Listen To Music?
We know that music in and of itself can be very healing. We do permit the use of devices used solely for your listening pleasure. Please bring a device that is not Wi-Fi-enabled and also does not have a camera, such as an iPod. We believe in keeping the confidentiality of our patients as our number one priority. Cameras are not permitted in any form inside of our center.
Can I Smoke Or Vape?
Smoking or vaping is not permitted in any indoor area of our treatment center. We do have a designated smoking area outside.
The packet we have provided discusses these questions and more in detail.
Please do not hesitate to ask anyone on our team any questions that pop up throughout the admissions process. Our staff is kind, caring, and compassionate. We are here to help you!
Step by Step
Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the admissions office. Here we will complete the process that already began with your initial phone call. We know how scary of a time this can be in your life. We will make every effort to ensure you are comfortable and feel at ease.
Your first step is normally detoxification from the substances you have been using. Our highly trained medical staff will make sure your detox process is safe and as comfortable as possible. We will provide a comprehensive medical evaluation to ensure that all of your needs are met.
We will also perform additional assessments when the time is right, such as psychological and psychiatric assessments. You can rest assured that these assessments will not take place until you are ready. We do not believe in rushing the process of recovery. Everyone is different. Treatment is not a “one size fits all” approach. What works for some, may not work for others. This is why your treatment plan will consist of variables that will best serve your needs and goals.
