This type of therapy has many benefits for our clients. Outdoor therapy believes in the healing properties of nature. The outdoor setting can bring fresh and new perspectives for those that are engaged in this type of therapy. This therapy tool is a favorite of many of our clients.
We believe in helping the addict and their family on the journey to wellness. The family is often affected by the substance abuse of the addict. We will address the importance of communications in families. Family therapy will show how the family of an addict can help them throughout their recovery.
This is a scientific process of retrieving information from your brain, about your brain. Drug use alters the brain. Neuro-feedback is to gain information about your brain. The goal of this type of therapy is to train your brain to resist drug cravings.
Group therapy consists of meeting with other individuals who also have a problem with addiction in a group setting. The group will have a skilled facilitator to help lead and direct the group. There is much therapeutic value of this type of therapy. Communication with others who are experiencing the same issues and have the same goals is paramount to successful recovery.
