Alumni and Friends Events

Imagine being put in front of the worst obstacle course of your life. You either figure out how to beat it, or you end up dead. You would want to be able to have the world cheering for you if you made it out the other side, right? So do the patients that turn to His House for recovery. That is only a small part of the reason we have Alumni and Friends Events, however.

The Goal Behind Alumni and Friends Events

Each man that walks out of His House successfully should be incredibly proud of himself, as he took on the hardest project of his life and won. We want to give him the opportunity to talk about how tough it was, and how good it feels to be on the sober side. At these events, he can speak with others who have gone through the same type of thing as him, plus, he can share his story with others who are just starting to look at the obstacle course that is rehab for the very first time.

At these events, we are able to provide:

• Stories about how addiction changed their life
• Networking for people who have successfully completed rehab
• Connection between those who are living a sober life, and those who are still struggling to get sober
• Friends and family to learn about the experiences you had at His House
