Sober Living
Sober Living programs are proven to help patients maintain sobriety and learn important skills to improve on harmful behaviors.
Discipline
Continuing the discipline which helped them during residential treatment, many patients opt for a Sober Living option. Most houses require patients to agree to strict rules before admitting. These can include restrictions on materials (such as mouthwash or hand sanitizer) which would trigger relapses, curfews, submission to surprise drug tests, enforced sleep times and meal times, chores, and others. Violations can lead to negative marks and even removal from the program.
Safe Environment
His House Sober Living programs offer a place where recovering addicts can be assured of a drug-free, productive environment where they can continue their own personal growth and recovery. We offer gender-specific houses, for men only, which allow for the removal of even more distractions for our patients.
Structure and Social Support
Residents at our His House Sober Living Programs have a built-in emotional support system of their peers in the place where they live. Most recovering addicts find this to be the most beneficial aspect of Sober Living for their recovery.
